Christina Rodriquez

Christina Rodriquez was born on July 24, 1933 in Placencia California, and she passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 3, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her parents Natividad and Guadalupe Rodriguez, brothers Anastasio, Mike, Peter and Arthur.

She is survived by her brothers Henry, Philip, Cruz, Lupe, Robert and Tony her sisters Mary Camarena, Josie Martinez and Ruth Fennessy.

Tia Christina, as she was affectionately known to all of us, enjoyed listening to music, singing along with her soft voice. She loved watching movies especially the older westerns. Christina was a combination of warmth, kindness, laughter and love. She was the oldest of 14 children.

She had a hand on all of our lives and we thank God for the precious time she was here with us.

She loved many things, mostly she loved her family; all of us. Until we meet again… We love you Tia Christina.

Visitation will be on Monday November 13 from 2pm-8pm, Rosary at 6pm, at Porterville Funeral and Cremation Chapel. Mass will be on Tuesday November 14 11:00am at St Anne’s Catholic Church, burial to follow at Home of Peace Cemetery.
