Lon D. Keen

Lon D. Keen, 81, passed away on January 23, 2018, in Florence, OR where he resided with his wife of 19 years.

Lon was born on September 14, 1932, in Lamar, jo to Virgil and Nora Keen.

In 1953, Lon's family moved to Terra Bella, CA. Lon married Bonnie Adair on July 29, 1955. Lon and Bonnie had four sons.

Lon worked for many years in citrus grove management. In 1976, he became a custodian for Terra Bella Elementary School. After custodial work, Lon went to work on a cattle ranch in 1995 and was put on disability in 1999 due to being trampled on by a calf.

After the death of Bonnie in 1997, Lon married Linda jorris in November of 1998 and moved to Florence, OR in 2000. Lon enjoyed fishing, going to stock car races, camping, dancing, and keeping up with those he loved.

Lon is survived by wife Linda Keen; sons Roger (Donna) Keen, Earl (Wendy) Keen, Gordon (Sheri) Keen, and Robert (Tamara) Keen; Grandchildren Kimberly Emery, Desseri Goldman, Danny Keen, David Fuentes Jr., Nichole Qualls, Ashley Keen, Kristin Keen and Amanda Keen; ten great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren Lon is also survived by six siblings, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Bonnie Keen, parents Virgil and Nora Keen, and five siblings.

A graveside memorial service will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery, jonday February 26th, at 10:30 Aj.
