Madeleine Faye Taylor
Madeleine Faye Taylor (Berra) was born on May 23, 1943 in Porterville, California to Bert and Mary Berra and passed away of complications from a long illness on 5/24/2018. One day after her 75th birthday.
Faye was a lifelong resident of Porterville. After graduating from Porterville High School in 1961, she attended Porterville College where she obtained her associates degree in accounting.
Faye was married in 1963 to Ed Clark and gave birth to her two sons, Cris and Craig Clark. Faye divorced in 1975, and seven years later married the love of her life, Riley Taylor.
Faye was a lifelong member of the Sons of Italy, Roma Lodge #1573 in Tulare, California, and was a longtime employee of Clark's Tax Servic and Southern California Gas Company. After retirement, faye volunteered at Sierra View District hospital and was president of the Pink Ladies group.
Faye's lifelong journey was devoted to helping family and friends in need. She was always ready to lend a helping hand wherever needed.
Faye was the life of light and family .
Her smiling eyes, booming voice and infectious laughter will surly be missed by all. Faye is proceeded in death by her parents Bert and Mary Berra; and husband, Riley Taylor. She is survived by her two sons Cris and Craig Clark; Stepsons, Tim and Denny Taylor; Brother Dr. Albert Berra; Granddaughter, Ashlie Clark; Daughterin-laws, Julie Sims Clark and Cari Bourquin Clark, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A rosary will be recited Monday, June at 6 pm at Myers Funeral home in Porterville, Ca.
A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, June 6th at 11am at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Porterville, Ca.
