Susan Low

Susan Low was born August 11, 1939 in Los Angeles, CA, to Guillermo Galvan and Ella (Garcia) Galvan. Susan went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 11, 2018.

Susan lived a wonderful life with much family and many friends. She was a beautiful, loving mother, nana, sister, aunt and friend.

Nana Loved to spend time with her daughter and her grandchildren. She loved being involved with their activities and especially loved to watch them play sports.

Susan is preceded in death by her husband, John Low; mother, Ella Galvan; father, Guillermo Galvan; brothers, Rudy and Willie Galvan, Frank Cambra, Flaco Ayon, Jay Coleman; and her only child, her beautiful daughter, Cindy Melton.

She is survived by her Son, Rick Melton; adopted daughter, Jackie Sue (Javier) Moncada; adopted son, Rick (Kelly) Cooksey; sisters, Lydia Ayon, Stella (Luis) Huante, Hope Cambra, Cecilia Galvan, Mary Coleman; brothers, Oscar (Emma) Galvan, Fernie (Sylvia) Galvan, Pete (Yasmin) Espinoza; 5 grandchildren, Kurt (Melissa) Takahashi, Kevin (Norma) Takahashi, Marcus (Kim) Melton, Andres (Camisha) Garcia and Susanna (Rocky) Burnitzki;15 great-grandchildren, Joshua, Crystal, Jaylon, Alexis, Khristoper, Kevin, Ethan, Jackson, Carlee, Kaye Jaye, Cynthia, Emmah, Madison, Grace and Victoria; 5 great-great-grandchildren, Noah, Camilla, Leah, Joshua, Cameron and Kira; and many nieces and nephews.

A Rosary will be held at Myers Chapel on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 6:00 PM. A Mass will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Holy Cross Church at 9:00 AM. Interment to follow at Lindsay-strathmore cemetery. A Reception immediately to follow at The Cellar Steakhouse.
