City of Porterville Parks and Leisure services corporate games of 2018
The 7th Annual Porterville Corporate Games concluded September 20 after two weeks of highly competitive events by 11 local participating teams. After the final cornhole bag landed, the team of Walmart Distribution Center- Team Grey hoisted the coveted Corporate Cup amassing 160 overall points. Nine events took place at various locations over the two-week span including: volleyball, a scavenger hunt, wheel of fortune, archery, an obstacle course, bowling, footgolf, basketball and cornhole. Participating teams loved the competition and even more valuable than competing was the increased camaraderie and boosted morale amongst co-workers. Parks and Leisure Services staff is already thinking ahead to Porterville Corporate Games 2019 and what new events will be added.
