Richard Zu­pan­cic "Z"

Richard Zu­pan­cic born on May 6, 1945 in Cleve­land, Ohio, passed away on Au­gust 15, 2018 in his daugh­ter’s home in Modesto, Cal­i­for­nia at age 73.

Sur­vivors in­clude his chil­dren, Cur­tis Zu­pan­cic and Ce­leste Zu­pan­ci­c­car­pen­ter. Richard had four beau­ti­ful grand­chil­dren; Dean, Slade, John­nie Zu­pan­cic and Hunter Car­pen­ter. Nieces and Neph­ews in­clude Cyn­thia Van­derziel, Kirk Van­derziel, Kelly Griggs-rakes, Robert Griggs, Michael Zu­pan­cic and many great nieces and neph­ews.

Richard had a very ac­com­plished pro­fes­sional life be­gin­ning with the Air Force from 1964-1968.

Richard and Con­stance met and were mar­ried on Au­gust 23, 1969. The love and sup­port of Con­stance made it pos­si­ble for Richard to fo­cus on school and achieve a Civil Engi­neer­ing de­gree from Cal Poly Pomona in 1974. He was a Civil En­gi­neer for over 35 years for both the Fed­eral Gov­ern­ment and the State of Cal­i­for­nia.

Richard was a beloved hus­band, father, brother, grand­fa­ther, uncle and friend. Please join his

fam­ily in cel­e­bra­tion of his life on Satur­day, Oc­to­ber 20th from 1-4pm at Nuck­ols Ranch in

Porter­ville, Ca.
