UPCOMING JANUARY 10-13

● Once Upon a Mattress opens Jan 10, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. at the Lindsay Community Theater. Other performances are Jan 11 and 12 at 7:30 PM and Jan 13 at 2:00 PM. Tickets are $9.99 for Adults and $5.00 for Students and are available at lindsaycommunitytheater. com. This fun musical is based upon the fairy tale of the Princess and the Pea. If you thought you knew the story of The Princess and the Pea, you may be in for a big surprise! Did you know, for instance, that Princess Winnifred actually swam the moat to reach Prince Dauntless the Drab? Or that Lady Larken’s love for Sir Harry provided a rather compelling reason that she reach the bridal altar in a hurry? Or that, in fact, it wasn’t the pea at all that caused the princess a sleepless night? With wonderful

songs, hilarious comedy and romance, this rollicking spin on the familiar classic of royal courtship provides for some side splitting humor. Chances are you’ll never look at fairy tales quite the same way again.
