Gran­ite Hills High School boys bas­ket­ball re­main at the top of the East Se­quoia League stand­ings af­ter down­ing Lind­say 53-24 in Fri­day’s ESL game on the road.

The Griz­zlies’ Miguel Felix led all scor­ers with 14 points while team­mates Armando Cabr­era and Abra­ham Gabi­nete chipped in 13 points each. Cabr­era also led the team with three 3-point­ers.

For the Car­di­nals, Nick Dun­ning led the team with eight points.

Gran­ite Hills is now 5-0 in ESL and 14-6 over­all. Their next game is Tues­day at 7:30 p.m. when they host Wood­lake. Strath­more 79 Farm­ersville 58 Strath­more boys bas­ket­ball de­feated Farm­ersville 79-58 in Fri­day’s East Se­quoia League game at home.

The Spar­tans were up 36-29 at half­time but ended the third quar­ter down 49-47. How­ever Strath­more outscored Farm­ersville 32-9 in the fourth for the win.

Wil­liam Reece led the team with 21 points and had five 3-point­ers. Jadon Guire had 15 points and made three 3-point­ers. Owen Pat­ter­son fin­ished with 14 points, An­drew Gon­za­lez had 10 and Moses Bower had six.
