PET OF THE WEEK

-

“Hi, my name is Conan and I am Pet of the Week here at the Porterville Animal Shelter. I have been here since January 10th, I am a male brindle Staffordshire mix with baby blue eyes. I am a little shy and scared, but with some love and attention I’m sure I will come out of my shell. I have had a rough life and I am in need of someone that wants to love me up and show me that the world and humans are not so scary. I went to an adoption event and a lot of people thought I was handsome, but eventually everyone passed me up. Please come out and visit me and see if I am the right fit for you. I would love to be your loyal companion and go on walks with you and snuggle up with you at night where it’s warm and cozy. It’s cold and lonely out here at the shelter. Can’t wait to meet you!”

The prospective adopter may visit the animal control shelter and select the animal in which they are interested. After the animal is selected, the owner is required to complete an adoption contract.

The shelter is located at 23611 Road 196, Lindsay, and is open from noon to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and closed on Sunday. The phone number is 562-9515.
