The Tule River Historical Museum

is open to the public from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays with no admission charge. The museum houses a collection of vintage lumber mill and farm equipment. WEDNESDAY

The First United Methodist Church

will be holding rehearsals for Handbells and chior every Wednesday. Handbell rehearsal begins at 6 p.m. and choir joins in at 7 p.m. The church has invited anyone who is interested to join them.

FRIDAY Main Street concert

series is held each Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Centennial Park across from City Hall. The concerts, which feature local talent, are free. Attendees are advised to bring a lawn chair or blanket.

First Christian Church

holds Breaking of the Bread women’s ministry every Friday night at 5:30 p.m. The breaking of bread celebratio­n includes potlucks, worship, craft projects and fellowship. These meetings take place at First Christian Church located at 1020 N. Prospect Street. For more informatio­n, call 784-1975.

The University of California San Francisco - Alzheimer and Memory Center and the Portervill­e Valley Adult Day Services is proud to introduce a fresh and innovative event “A Night Of Salsa” where we are mixing salsa lessons with a dementia seminar and

resource fair for the Hispanic population. Annual Fashion Show Luncheon.

The Portervill­e Women’s Club will be hosting their annual fashion show luncheon on March 16 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be fashion, food, and fun. There will also be raffles and prizes. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at Fashion Network on Main Street. The lunchoen will be hosted at 386 N. Main Street, o the corner of Main Street and Morton Avenue.
