The Poppies
It’s a little late but we recognize all those who held events to recognize 9/11. To those we know about including the Porterville Fire Department with the Porterville Police Department, Porterville Military Academy, Butterfield Charter School, Burton School District and Harmony Magnet Academy. And to all those who held events to remember 9/11 we didn’t know about. And of course to all the first responders who sacrified so much and to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice on 9/11. May they and their families receive all the resources they need. Especially moving and touching was the event at the Porterville Fire Department near Veterans Park in which Porterville firefighters would go up and down the tower and then ring the bell for every first responder who died on 9/11. #Never Forget.
