Celebrate Library Card Sign-up Month this

September with Tulare County Library and the American Library Association. A library card provides free access to a wealth of materials and help children to succeed with work, school, and life. With two ways to apply, there is no reason not to get the smartest card today.

Need a card? Sign up for a free ecard online without leaving the house to immediately enjoy our vast collection of ebooks, eaudiobooks, and online resources for student success, job hunting, learning a new language and more. Selfregister for your ecard at https://www.sjvls.org/ ecard.

Upgrade the ecard

or apply for a physical library card to unlock even more resources. This includes access to our Pick-up service for physical library items such as books and DVDS.

Call Tulare County Library at 559-713-2700, option 4 to apply for a physical library card to be mailed to you. For more information about

our Pick Up service, call

us or visit https://www. tularecountylibrary.org/ library-pickup.

With either library card, you have free access to online tutoring from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. through Helpnow for students in kindergarten through college. Job seekers can prepare for interviews and get help with their resume through Jobnow. Find these resources and more at https://www.tularecountylibrary.org/ research.

Join Tulare County Library on social media to learn more about the valuable services the library offers, including adult literacy services, ebooks, and virtual programming for all ages. Share selfies with your card, your favorite books, or something you have achieved because you had a library card.

There’s more! Starting in September all branches will offer “Take and Make” crafts for children, and at some branches, teens. The kits are available on select days during pick-up hours and while supplies last through October 31st. Crafts vary by branch, and include tissue paper flowers, pop up puppets, and spooky crafts for Halloween. Please call your local library for craft pick up days.
