On April 11, 2021 after a long, tiring battle with Parkinson's Disease our lovely Dorothy Jean Colman Helm has gained her freedom and returned to her forever home.

Dorothy was born on July 7, 1930 to Bessie and Richard Graves in Wilson OK. At a young age her & her family relocated to CA. where Dorothy attended school.

In high school she met JC Colemen, they married in 1947 in Porterville Ca. They later divorced and in 1968 Dorothy married Daniel Lehman in Reedley Ca.

The two of them became Psych Techs together in Camarillo Ca. in 1983. Dorothy thoroughly enjoyed her career. Being an avid bowler at Porterville Lanes, Dorothy was struck w/grief as her 3 to 4 times per week bowling career was ended due to Parkinson's Disease. Dorothy led a very active & healthy lifestyle, she traveled to many states within the US and also traveled to Germany, Wales, England, Hawaii and Ireland.

Doroty is survived by her sister Martha Salmon, brother Richard (wife Cindy), daughters Becki (Everett) Thompson (Exeter), Judy Coleman (Bakersfield CA.). Grandkids Nick & Malisa Bagby (Bakersfield CA), Meegan (Willoughby Ohio), Lydia & Wayne House (Visalia CA.). 12 Great Grandkids, 9 Great Great Grandkids, all of which she greatly adored.
