Linda Ray Berra, Age 79, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2021 surrounded by her immediate family following a long illness.

She was the youngest daughter of the late Ray and Louise Hutchinson who migrated to California from Texas in the 1930's, and establishe­d extensive farming operations in the Poplar area. Her family was widely known for raising prized registered Hereford Bulls sold throughout the Western United States and for raising Champion Arabian horses.

Her love of Arabian horses began at an early age and by her teenage years she became an excellent rider winning numerous awards. She excelled in Western Class Horse events in California and neighborin­g Western States and was an active member of Portervill­e Canterbell­s. She attended University of the Pacific in Stockton graduating with a teaching degree in 1963 and was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Louise Hutchinson, her sister Delores Iness, brother-in-law Sim Iness, and nephew Joe Iness. She is survived by her husband of 57 years Dr. AI Berra, her three children Albert Berra II (Lora), Sally Scalia (Joe) and Tony Berra (Stephani), nephews Dan Iness of Los Alamos, Cris Clark of Colorado Springs, Craig Clark of Morro Bay and nine Grandchild­ren, Preston ,Kayleigh , K.C. ,Ellie, Drew and Camryn Berra and A.J, Caysen and Evie Cuelho.

Rosary Service will be held at 6.00pm Monday April 26th 2021 at Myers Funeral Chapel and Mass of Christian Burial Service at Holy Cross Catholic Church on Tuesday April 27th 2021 at 11am. Interment will follow at St. Anne's Cemetery.
