Dennis Scott Hundsdorfer crossed through the veil on May 31, 2021 at USC Keck Hospital in Los Angeles, California.

Scott was born to Wilbur and Golda Hundsdorfer on June 16, 1943 in Vallejo, California.

Scott grew up in Porterville, California attending local schools and graduating from Porterville Union High School in June of 1962. Shortly after graduation he joined the Marine Reserves and was honorably discharged in June of 1968.

June 6, 1966 Scott went to work for Southern California Edison in Santa Monica, California. Overtime he became a Journeyman Lineman in Tulare California, which he absolutely loved. After 32 years of service he retired from SCE. His only regret was that he retired too young.

Greg Moody, Grandson Dustin Moody and Greatgrandson Boone Moody – his best “little buddy”. He is also survived by Ryan Hundsdorfer and 3 Granddaughters, Hailee, Quin, and Hanna.

Scott is also survived by two sisters, Shirley Warden of Strathmore, California and Mary Jane & (Brother-in-law) Chuck Hutchinson of Brawley, California, several nieces and nephews, cousins, and many lifelong friends.

Scott is greatly loved and missed by those that survive him. He had many happy years on earth. Scott and family had recently moved to property that was owned by his Grandparents in the 1930’s, in Springville, California.

A Celebration of His Life will be held on October 2, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Nuckol’s Ranch located at 13144 Road 216, Porterville, California. All are welcome. Come and pay your respects and share stories with family and friends.

Donations in Scott’s memory can be shared with St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee or your local SPCA. Children and animals held a special place in Scott’s heart.
