LETTERS TO THE EDITOR

Still allowing Pinter to insult more than half your readership

Once again you have allowed a columnist to insult and demean more than half of your potential readership.

I am sure if you look up arrogant in the dictionary you will see a picture of the “smartest man in Springville.” Mr. Pinter claimed (without one iota of truth) that President Trump told 500 lies on Mr. Pinter’s birthday. If he is counting the daily lies his President is telling I would be he would deny that his President has ever told a lie.

Mr. Pinter claims that the lower half of all intelligent people are all Republicans.

It may be beyond my “intellectual capacity” to fact check

Mr. Pinter’s rantings but as Ron White says you cannot fix stupid. I happen to believe that people of low intellectual ability are the leaders of the Democratic Party. Don Howard Porterville

Recognizing Judy May

I would like to recognize Judy May of Porterville: Judy for many years has driven around to our local rivers and homeless areas to pass out sleeping bags, blankets and basically whatever the people need, and once a week she volunteers her time to give out food to them and also bags of food for their pets. She also helps the people get their pets spayed and neutered.

Judy also volunteers at the Project Homeless Connect “Link.” She donates a lot of her time and money and collects a lot of pet foods, toys, blankets, leashes and whatever an animal may need..she donates them to the Animal Section of the Project Homeless. “Helping the Homeless to help their Pets” Judy also volunteers her time collecting for Toys for Tots at Christmas time.

And she also works the annual Flag Ceremony.

Judy is a very special lady with a big heart and bery well known in Porterville, and very dear to my heart
