Lydia May Peyron

Lydia May Peyron aka "Dada" was born on October 1, 1932 to the late John and Clara Peyron. Lydia just recently celebrated her 89th birthday with her family before God called her home on November 16th 2021.

Lydia and her 9 siblings were from San Diego, CA and still in school when they moved to Tulare County, Porterville CA. Porterville CA is where Lydia laid down her roots and had 10 children.

The late Rita Mcdarment, Gilbert Estrella, Jim Salas, the late Lena Bernal, Phillip Bernal, Michael Bernal, Vivian Bernal, Anthony Bernal, Mark Bernal and Steven Martinez. Lydia also has 126 beautiful grandchildren…6 generations, and still counting!

Lydia loved sharing her stories with her family and expressed how much she missed living in San Diego because she loved the beach where she and her siblings would spend time instead of going to school. Lydia was always surrounded by her children and grandchildren no matter the time or day.

She loved celebrating the holidays and birthday celebrations, and loved dancing and listening to music. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, and will be remembered because of her beauty, loving heart, wisdom, fun spirit, and amazing sense of humor.

Lydia’s Celebration of Life will be on November 30, 2021 from 9am2pm at the Porterville Funeral & Cremation Center, 765 West Henderson Ave, Porterville, CA. At 12:00 pm Lydia’s grandson Lawrence “Ducky” Macias will speak loving words about his beautiful grandmother. On December 1st, 2021 at 11:30 am Lydia’s Celebration will continue at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery, 1013 East Olive St, Porterville, CA. Immediately following will be a family and friends gathering with good food and great stories at Mccarthy Ranch, 32657 Reservation Road, Porterville, CA.
