Hometown author releases devotional book — “Always Before Me”

Best selling author Davalynn Spencer, a Porterville native and former Porterville Recorder columnist and reporter, has released her latest work, a threemonth collection of down-to-earth story-devotions with Foreword by former Focus On the Family Editorial Director, Susan G. Mathis.

“Always Before Me” offers 90 brief, daywarming inspirations just in time for Mother’s Day.

In “Always Before Me,” Spencer’s earthy approach to prayer and Bible reading encourages women with examples of how God uses their ordinary surroundings and circumstances to carry his extraordinary voice straight to their hearts.
