PAID OBITUARY PROCEDURE

Obituary notices are written by funeral homes and relatives of the deceased and not by The Porterville Recorder news staff. The deadline for obituaries is noon daily for the following day’s publication, noon Friday for Monday’s publication. Obituaries submitted over the weekend will be published in Tuesday’s edition. Obituaries may be e-mailed to: recorderclass@portervillerecorder.com. The subject line should be in the following format: OBITUARY-NAME OF THE DECEASED. Obituaries may also be delivered to The Recorder at 115 E. Oak Ave., Porterville, or faxed to 559-784-5245.
