Salvador "Royce" Orosco Jr. passed away peacefully of natural causes May 19,2023 surrounded by loved ones at 87 years of age. Royce was born September 28,1935 to Salvador Ralph Sr. and Alta Mae Orosco in Portervill­e, Ca. He attended and graduated from Poterville public schools. He then enlisted in the Air Force and traveled abroad until meeting his wife Barbara Ann Black in Fairbanks, Alaska where they married October 20, 1956. They traveled together having children along the way until finishing his service and settled back in Portervill­e in 1960. Royce was a painter and taught his sons, grandsons, nephews and mentored many others along the way. Royce and Barbara raised their children and grandchild­ren with all the love in their hearts. Royce was very proud of the accomplish­ments of his children /grandchild­ren and loved to spend every minute he could with them to hear about their lives. He especially loved watching them play sports throughout his life. He was very much loved and will be missed forever.

Royce is survived by his Children: Bo & Pilar Orosco of Portervill­e, Sallie & Steve Schweinhau­t of Cedar City, Utah, Dennis & Amber Orosco of Portervill­e, Randy&darlene

Lowndes of Visalia. Grandchild­ren: Rich & Autumn Boxley Orosco of Visalia,samantha Orosco of enlisted Greenland, Jon & Alisa Orosco of enlisted Germany, Star & Richard Powell of Visalia, Eian Orosco of Portervill­e, Michael Orosco of Portervill­e, Rachele & Mike Almaraz of enlisted Japan, Aracely & Vivianna Romero of Portervill­e. Greatgrand­children: Cole Orosco of College Station, Tx, Randy Orosco of Sacramento,ca Shelby Orosco of Clovis,ca Hunter&tristan Boxley of Visalia, Tristan,micah,aubree & Lilah Almaraz of enlisted Japan. Brother:gary Orosco of Portervill­e. Sister:judy&george Moreno of Portervill­e. Several nephews/nieces and many many others he called family.

He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Ann Orosco, his sons Salvador Richard Orosco and Mike Lawson Orosco. Brothers Bart Orosco and Boyce Orosco. Parents Salvador Ralph Sr. and Alta Mae Orton Orosco.

Graveside services are May 31st 11:00 A.M. Hillcrest Memorial 1013 E. Olive Eulogy delivered by his friend and minister Mel Whitlock. Celebratio­n of life immediatel­y following at Veterans Building until 3:00 P.M. 1900 W. Olive Ave. Food and beverages provided until they're gone. No Alcohol please
