Ganell Mulliniks

Ganell Mulliniks, a resident of Portervill­e, was called home by her Lord on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. She was 88. She was the daughter of Keith and Christine Sanders who moved their family to this area in 1941.

Ganell, or Mrs. Mulliniks as known by all the Woodville students, served Woodville Elementary School as the Library Aide for 25 years. If you met her - you were blessed. She used the talents given to her by God to serve others.

She loved to attend any function that supported her children, grandchild­ren and greatgrand­children. She loved to cook for family, friends and co-workers and was known for her famous Apricot Fried Pies. She played piano by ear, was a master at crafts, had a black-belt in shopping and instigated many shenanigan­s. She enjoyed watching baseball and cheered for her Toronto Blues Jays until the end.

She was preceded in death by Harvey Mulliniks, her beloved husband of 47 years.

She is survived by her sister, Doretha Gibson of Portervill­e, her children Rance (Lori) Mulliniks of Visalia, Dana (Rosie White) Mulliniks of Portervill­e and Melanie Mulliniks of Portervill­e; nine grandchild­ren, and twelve great-grandchild­ren.

A Visitation will be held at Myers Chapel, Portervill­e, CA on Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. A service will be held at Henderson Avenue Baptist Church, Portervill­e, CA on Friday, June 9, 2023 with Pastor Ted Wuth officiatin­g. Interment will follow at Woodville Cemetery, Woodville, CA.
