“Akuma Kun” - Season 1 (Nov. 9)

This new animated series is a sequel to the 1989 original of the same name, which was based on a manga written and illustrated by Shigeru Mizuki. Set 30 years after the events of the original, it tells the story of boy genius Ichiro Umoregi. Since he was raised by demons, Ichiro is perceptive of supernatural phenomena, which comes in handy when solving paranormal murder and mysteries.

“Resident Evil: Death Island” (Nov. 9)

Based on the hit survival-horror video game series by Capcom, this animated film gives a viewer an idea of what adventures the heroes and heroines of “Resident Evil” get up to between games. When a zombie outbreak occurs in San Francisco, Jill Valentine, Leon Kennedy and Chris Redfield are sent in to resolve the crisis. They soon deduce that outbreak originates from Alcatraz Island.

“The Killer” (Nov. 10, Movie Premiere)

Inspired by writer Alexis “Matz” Nolent and artist Luc Jacamon’s 1998 graphic novel, this thriller tells the story of an assassin (Michael Fassbender) who, after a fateful near-miss, battles his employers — and himself — on an international manhunt he insists isn’t personal. Charles Parnell, Arliss Howard, Sophie Charlotte and Tilda Swinton also star.

“Onimusha” - Season 1 (Available Now)

Capcom’s long-dominant action game series gets a new lease on life with a brand-new anime adaptation. The series follows Miyamoto Musashi — who is modeled after late Japanese film icon Toshiro Mifune —as he embarks on a covert mission to rid Edo Japan of demons. Armed with the fabled Oni Gauntlet and his trusty sword, is Musashi enough to combat the forces of evil?
