“Supermarket Sweep” (7 p.m., ABC): “Saturday Night Live” alumna Leslie Jones is both host and executive producer of this classic, fast-paced game show in which each episode features three teams of two battling it out to prove their supermarket skills and general knowledge of merchandise to win big cash prizes. The team that manages to rack up the biggest grocery bill during their timed race around the store can win $100,000. Jones says she has an emotional stake in the game: She unsuccessfully auditioned to be a contestant on an earlier version of the show.

“Pandora” (7 p.m., CW): Jax (Priscilla Quintana) and her team visit the remote planet where Professor Osborn (Noah Huntley) first found her as an infant during the Earth-Zatarian War in the new episode “Gates of Eden.” The expedition hopes to find the Ancients and persuade them to save the universe, but Ralen (Ben Radcliffe) suffers a loss that will change him forever.

(7 p.m., BBCA): A new season of this long-running automotive series finally premieres, after production was forced to shut down last March due to the coronavirus pandemic. Filming resumed in June, under new health constraints which saw the “studio” segments moved from their familiar hangar to a racecourse, where hosts Paddy McGuinness, Freddie Flintoff and Chris Harris appeared before a socially-distanced drive-in crowd of 500. Among the new season’s highlights, hosts McGuinness, Flintoff and Harris tackle a giant carnival-inspired Wall of Death, driving old insurance write-offs.

“Who Is Killing the Cheerleaders?” (7 p.m., 11:01 p.m., Lifetime): Ten years after former cheerleader Ellie nearly died in a series of savage slayings on her squad, she returns to that same high school as a teacher. Shortly after her arrival, however, she is horrified when a new rash of murders breaks out. Ellie vows to find the killer before he or she gets to Ellie first in this 2020 thriller.

(8 p.m., ABC): Actress Tiffany Haddish is in the hot seat as this game show reboot returns for Season 2. In addition to “regular” contestants, this season also features celebrities like Haddish playing for a favorite charity. Along with the familiar lifelines, “Ask the Host,” “50/50” and “Phone a Friend,” contestants now may invite an expert guest to help them answer questions. Tonight’s other contestant, firefighter Oliver Fry, tries his luck at climbing to the $1 million prize.

“Worst Cooks in America” (8 p.m., 11 p.m., Food): In a new “Halloween Redemption” episode, chefs Anne Burrell and Carla Hall give four former “Worst Cooks” recruits a chance to redeem themselves for their earlier appearance on the show by dividing into teams and learning from their team leaders Anne and Carla how to make a Halloween party buffet. The treats they come up with must please a party of Halloween enthusiasts — along with culinary judges Danny Brown, Jordan Andino and Gabriela Rodiles — to win the grand prize, kitchen upgrades worth $5,000.

(9 p.m., 10:26 p.m., 11:52 p.m., FX): As an angry Josto (Jason Schwartzman) strikes back, Ethelrida (E’myri Crutchfield) does the right thing in a new episode called “The Birthplace of Civilization.” Meanwhile, the hapless Loy (Chris Rock) finds himself seemingly against the ropes, and Deafy (Timothy Olyphant) shakes the tree to see what falls out.
