If your fellow antivaxxer laying on their deathbed and proclaiming that they wish that they had taken the vaccine

does not convince you to take the shot, I fear that nothing ever will.

We once considered sending your child into an area which is known to harm them child abuse.

Each parent who for political reasons refused to allow their child to wear a mask should be charged with the same.

I too believe in freedom. Kids should free to attend school without getting the virus, so masks should be worn.

I believe we have the freedom to socialize without fear of dying, so vaccines should be taken. I believe in an honest and moral man as president therefore the likes of the former guy should never be allowed as president. Finally, I believe in the freedom for women to control their own bodies. Freedom for all!

This isn’t about mass firings of workers refusing to vaccinate.

It’s an overdue reduction of unsafe employees.

No, it’s not Joe Biden’s job to get the vaccine into people’s arms; it’s every American’s job.

The Biden administration has made the vaccine available to every American in every state. Unfortunately,

this effort has been neutralized by far right, Republican, conspiracy theory spreading crackpots. These Trump supporting individuals are out there spreading lies and disinformation about the vaccines, and proclaiming the vaccination program is infringing on their rights. Look at the Valpo “Freedom Rally”. Those weren’t Biden banners being flown by the protesters complaining about losing their rights. Trump had very little to do with vaccine development, but his die-hard supporters bear much of the responsibility for the low vaccination rates in the U.S., and don’t deserve any financial reward for getting a shot the rest of us took for free.

That was a revealing article from Jerry Davich about the brainwashed demonstrators in Valparaiso

this week. The only thing they demonstrated was something that my grandmother used to say. She used to say “He who knows the least knows it the loudest”.

Channel 5 News just reported that rural Americans are dying at twice the rate of people living in urban areas

from COVID-19. I’m no genius, but looking at the numbers, people in urban areas are more likely to be vaccinated. This is either a really odd coincidence, or proof the vaccines save lives. People need to smarten up and take the shot.

Only the very naïve would place blame on the Trump tax cuts for the low and middle class taxpayers

several years ago for the recent price spike in natural gas prices. Let’s call a spade a spade. Joe Biden pipeline prices that have driven up oil and gasoline prices are doing the same to natural gas. Will be that way till 2024.

America, please don’t be disturbed by the bickering that’s going on with the infrastructure legislation.

This is a classic example of what happens when groups are considering major legislation. We are not talking about thousands of dollars. We are talking about trillions! Infrastructure will happen. Remember, negotiations can be like the wind. You are not so sure when it is going to blow or remain calm. However, you know it’s going to show up at some time. What you hope is when it blows it will be a gentle cooling breeze on a warm summer day. We also know the wind, like negotiations, can be destructive. This is what Republicans are hoping will happen with the infrastructure bills. The weatherman, however, is predicting that it will be okay to set sail. Infrastructure will float!

I would remind Republicans that Alex Jones has caved every single time that he gets sued.

And he has LOST every suit against him. What does that tell you about the people you get your information from?

?? JERRY DAVICH/POST-TRIBUNE ?? On Wednesday evening, columnist Jerry Davich attended a “Freedom Rally” hosted by angry parents demonstrating against masking their children in schools. Other “anti” faction groups also showed up in front of the Porter County Courthouse – anti-vaccine, anti-Biden, antityranny, anti-stolen elections, etc. “It’s all about freedom,” one protester told him. “However you define it.”
