Indiana Governor Holcomb held a news conference to update the state’s worsening COVID-19 situation.

He said “This situation will get worse before it improves.” So let’s see how our schools handle the masks requirement, and how long before they are forced to go back to e-learning.

With her “NFTs”

(a.k.a. “non-fungible — or worthless — tokens”), Melania Trump is proving herself to be nearly as big a grifter as her husband. They just can’t get enough of shearing their sheep. What a pair. They truly are soulmates.

The spat between Governor Eric Holcomb and Attorney General Todd Rokita over Covid numbers proves one thing for sure. Democrats are such an inconsequential presence in Indiana that when a Republican wants to pick a fight, they have to start it with another Republican.

The Indiana General Assembly is at it again. COVID-19 is our major problem, and they are focused on school board meetings! They feel that parents should have more involvement in what is happening in our schools. Schools have always encouraged parent involvement. What schools don’t want are radical Republicans, who promote conspiracy theories and encourage insurrections, attending school board meetings and causing disruptions! Schools hire superintendents to manage our schools. They are responsible for all aspects of the educational process. This includes the business office, building and grounds, transportation and of course instruction. Indiana, in general, has had some excellent superintendents and management teams. Indiana teachers are among the best! Our major problem is not parent involvement in general. The major problem is the recent involvement of extremist right-wing Republican parents who want to take over the schools. They disrupt board meetings and threaten board members before, during and after meetings. When we look at current trends, what we really need are laws that will provide stiff penalties for anyone disrupting a school board meeting or assaulting a school employee! School folk are trained professionals who know how to do their jobs. We need parents to give their kids some quality attention. Fix some breakfast. Provide some incentives for performance. Lift their spirits when they seem to be down. Listen to them. Provide a warm and loving home. Indiana lawmakers please listen.

Ron White’s quote still pertains to today. Especially today. “You can’t fix stupid. There’s not a pill you can take; there’s not a class you can go to. Stupid is forever.”

Ghislaine Maxwell was found guilty on 5 of the 6 charges of sex trafficking a minor and sexual abuse of a minor. She faces up to 65 years in prison. I wonder if she will wants to give up some names in Epstein’s little black book, in order to lessen her sentence. The greatest impetus a person has is their own self preservation.

I am really disgusted with these so-called “patriots” that drive around with these huge American flags,

and wear flag shirts, caps, shoes, bandannas and everything else they can buy to prove to prove how much more American they are than everyone else. Then they go to the Capitol and protest our election because they didn’t like that “their” guy didn’t win, and cause a riot. Is that what American patriots do? Hell, no!

House members Andrew Clyde and Marjorie Taylor Greene, both of Georgia, have refused to wear masks

on the House floor, as per rules, and have together racked up fines of more than $100,000, which are deducted from their paychecks. Big deal. Their donors will simply shower them with more donations. And they know it. What needs to happen is for the House Sergeant at Arms to forcibly remove these Georgia peaches from the House floor, preferably in handcuffs. Let them feel a little humiliation for their humiliating behavior.

I work with both stupid and stubborn people.

They are the same ones who refuse the COVID shot.

One naive Quickly reader writes in to brag that her family lives a Republican life but identify themselves as Democrats? I question why, but this is America and Republicans all over America have sacrificed in order for her to have the right to such beliefs.

It’s really simple. If you do not get COVID shot and get sick, then you pay your own hospital bills. No help from anyone who tried to tell you the shot works.
