Porter Co. website offers information to voters

VALPARAISO — Expanded resources are now available for voters and potential voters on the Porter County website.

The resources include information for those who are eligible to vote but have yet to register, including the availability to download registration forms and even register online.

Porter County Clerk Karen Martin announced the new features last week.

For registered voters, there are a wide variety of maps by precinct, townships, districts (County Council, State Representative, State Senator), as well as all city and town boundaries, including polling locations. Potential absentee voters now have online access for downloading absentee applications, early voting, and military regulations and absentee applications.

Online information about candidates includes an up-tothe-minute list of candidates who have filed for county and township offices. Also available to view or download are campaign finance reports for candidate committees, political action committees and political parties.
