When: 7 p.m., today Radio: 95.1-FM Skinny: The Crusaders put up 80 points against Milwaukee on Saturday afternoon but that wasn’t enough as Avyanna Young’s Horizon League high 36 points helped the Panthers to the 85-80 victory. The road to victory will be a little tougher tonight as VU takes on defending league champion Green Bay. The Crusaders dropped their last contest at the Kress Center, 80-38, on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, shooting a dismal 21 percent (11-for-52) from the floor. VU has been shooting the ball pretty well as of late knocking down 48 percent of its shots against Milwaukee and 45 percent against Cleveland State. It’s been the defense that has failed the Crusaders, allowing 55 percent and 52 percent in those same two contests.
