DAILY HOROSCOPES

- BY GEORGIA NICOLS

ALL SIGNS MOON ALERT: After 3:45 a.m., we have the all clear to do business (whether $10 or $10 million) and make important decisions. The Moon is in Taurus.

IF FEB. 5 IS YOUR BIRTHDAY: Actor Michael Sheen (1969) shares your birthday today. You are strong and convincing. Others know that you mean business. You also have a physical presence that conveys to others that they can have confidence in you and indeed, this confidence is wellfounded. You have a many-faceted character, much of which is hidden. This year a major change will take place, perhaps as significant as something that happened around 2005.

ARIES (March 21-April 19): This is a good day for business and finance. Trust your money-making ideas, which might be based on old research or ideas you had in the past. Suddenly, the penny drops, the light bulb goes on and you think, “Eureka!î

TAURUS (April 20-May 20): Today the Moon is in your sign, which increases your good fortune a tiny bit. You feel talkative and eager to communicate to others. You might meet someone in a group situation whom you admire. Perhaps this person will inspire you in some way?

GEMINI (May 21-June 20): Conversations with people in authority (bosses, parents, teachers and VIPs) will go well. In fact, feelings of mutual simpatico might develop, which lead to an enthusiastic exchange of shared information. This could inspire you to research or learn more.

CANCER (June 21-July 22): Talk to others, especially in groups. A female acquaintance will teach you something or introduce you to something unusual and different. This might have something to do with foreign countries or different cultures. You can broaden your understanding about something today.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): People notice you. They might learn more about you from you directly, or indirectly from another source. (Your privacy might be slightly invaded, hopefully with your permission.) Whatever you share with others will benefit you in the long run because others will help you in return.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Do something different today. Shake up your routine. You want to learn something new plus you want to have a little adventure. If you have a chance to travel — grab it. Talk to people from other backgrounds and different countries. An old friend might be part of this process.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): This is a good day to tie up loose details with shared property, taxes, inheritances, insurance matters or anything you own jointly with others. You might want to establish who is responsible for what, especially if you are responsible for someone else or the possessions of someone else. You might define your budget parameters at work.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): Be prepared to compromise because the Moon is opposite your sign. This is just common sense. Discussions might focus on children, social events, sports or romantic possibilities. Issues are soft and pliable because everyone is feeling out the situation.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): The flow of information at work is important to you. You want to inform others about something and also learn more about what they have to say. You might also feel sympathetic to a co-worker. If so, don’t miss an opportunity to practice a kindness, be it large or small.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): This is a playful, flirtatious, fun-loving day for you! It’s also a creative day for artists and writers. Those who act, teach, edit and explore the arts will be productive. You will be able to help a child or someone younger to whom you feel sympathetic. Bonus!

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): You’ll enjoy cocooning at home if you get a chance. Basically, you want to withdraw from the busyness around you and relax. You will love to learn as well through television, or reading a book or studying. You might perfect a particular technique.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20): Because you’re in touch with your feelings, you will have meaningful discussions. This is why you will be bored talking about the weather or other safe, trivial topics. You want to share real experiences.
