FUNDRAISERS, AWARENESS EVENTS,
Chicago-area women and the men who love them will join the fight against heart disease in women at the American Heart Association’s annual Go Red for Women luncheon at noon on Feb. 21 at the Walnut Room at Macy’s on State Street in Chicago.
Go Red For Women is the American Heart Association’s national movement to end heart disease in women. The movement advocates for more research and swifter action for women’s heart health.
The Go Red For Women Luncheon, chaired this year by Sharon O’Keefe, president of University of Chicago Medical Center is the signature fundraising event of the campaign, which raises awareness of women’s No. 1 killer, heart disease.
