Paul was a faithful member of St. Timothy Community Church, where he served in many capacities. Member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated.

Paul was preceded in death by his father, Herman Griffith and son, Terrance Griffith. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Griffith; his mother, Mary Gloria; two sons, Paul Griffith Jr. (Rhoda) and Jeffrey Griffith; five grandchildren; brother, Herman Fredrick (Patricia); brother-in-law, Ezra D. Alexander, III; special aunts, Claudia Wells and Mary Young; and special cousin, Alfred Stubbs; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
