Fields, Ted K.

Age 57, of Valparaiso, IN passed away on February 3, 2014. He was born on May 9, 1956 in Gary, IN to Herman and Nevelyn (Warren) Fields, who preceded him in death.

He is survived by his children, Jonathan (Christina) Fields of LaPorte, Jessica (David J.) Didelot of Valparaiso; brothers, Ronald (Jackie) Fields of Lake Station, Donald (Dorothy) Fields of Portage, Richard (Yvonne) Fields of Valparaiso; sisters, Teresa (Ronald) Hajduk of South Carolina, Rebecca (Gary) Wade of Ohio; grandchildren, Diana Fields, Ted Didelot; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosella M. Fields; sisters, Linda Sarvis and Melody Jeffries.

Ted worked for US Steel for 31 years before retiring. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 7, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at Edmonds & Evans Funeral

Home, 6941 Central Ave., Portage, IN 46368, with Pastor Frederick Hoover officiating. Burial to follow at Heritage Cemetery, Portage, IN.
