Morris, Virginia B. “Ginny”

(nee Goodwin) Age 86, of Merrillville, IN passed away on Monday, February 3, 2014.

Virginia is survived by her 2 children, Michele (Sven) Nylen of Coral Springs, FL and Michael (Pam) Morris of Crown Point, IN; 4 grandchildren, Jamie Deiotte of Chesterton, IN, Aimee Deiotte of Porter, IN, Sven Nylen IV of Chicago, IL and Bethany (Michael) Smolarek of Riverside, IL; 4 great-grandchildren, Nate, Abby and Ben Smolarek and Owen Deiotte; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James “Slip” Morris and daughter, Candee Brady.

Virginia was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed family gatherings and had a passion for cooking.
