THE BIG NUMBER
11
Eleven out of 11 scholarship players on the roster have started this season, with Sterling Carter cracking the lineup at Penn State. In his first start since Dec. 2, 2012, against Boise State while he was at Seattle, the graduate transfer played a season-high 26 minutes, after he had played 25 off the bench in Purdue’s previous game at Michigan. The Boilermakers had used the same lineup in each of their first eight Big Ten games, before Carter replaced Rapheal Davis.
