NEW SCOREBOARD

The U.S. Steel Yard in Gary is getting a new scoreboard to replace the 55-foot tall LED scoreboard that’s graced the baseball stadium since it opened in 2003. On Wednesday, the Redevelopment Commission voted to provide $150,000 toward a new scoreboard. The RailCats’ ownership is providing the rest of the funding.
