Police suspect serial robber

Valparaiso police believe the same suspect involved in a string of robberies late last year has struck again, this time at 5:35 p.m. at Ribordy Liquors, 1665 W. Morthland Drive.

Officers were told a male subject entered the store with a handgun and demanded cash from the register.

The man was described as black, 5-feet, 7-inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, and wearing baggie blue jeans and a hooded sweatshirt. The suspect had his face partially covered.

He was last observed running west from the store with an undetermined amount of money.
