Wright, Jesse Lee

Departed this life on Saturday, February 1, 2014. He was formerly of Charleston, Mississippi and a Gary resident for many years. Jesse was an employee of the US Steel Corp.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Vernell Wright; mother, Ossie Barnes; father, Virgil Wright; brother, James Wright. He leaves to cherish his memories one son, Jesse Wright; 4 daughters, Rochelle (Anthony) Edwards, Jessica (Jimmy) Carson, Inma Wright, Lara Wright; 7 sisters, Virginia (John) Brim, Eunice (Eddie) Porter, Virgie Ann Wright, Jarlene Wright, Sedonia Allen, Patricia (Leonard) Orange, and Kathleen (Fredrick) Miles; 2 brothers, Joseph Wright and Willie Wright; 13 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 9:00a.m. to 11:00a.m. with funeral service immediately at 11:00a.m. All services at the Mission for Christ Church of God in Christ, 3101 W. 41st Ave. Bishop Charles Black, Officiating.
