Age 86, of Valparaiso, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 4, 2014. She was born on October 4, 1927 in St. Phillips, IN; the daughter of the late Joseph and Olivia (Koressel) Wolf. Pauline was a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmothe­r, and greatgrand­mother who will be greatly missed. She was an avid gardener and lover of nature. She was very active and enjoyed biking and walking; her favorite place was the beach where she loved to feed the seagulls. Another favorite pastime was racing. She attended many Indy Car and NASCAR races and loved her Corvette and Mustang. She was very social, loved to visit family and friends, and never met a stranger.

On December 14, 1949 in Gary, IN, Pauline married Arthur E. Browning who preceded her in death in 1980. She is survived by her children, Deborah Schlene of Michigan City, Diane (Kenneth) Terry of Valparaiso, and John (Lusiana) Browning of Media, PA; 2 granddaugh­ters, Kimberly and Rachel Schlene; 2 greatgrand­children, Gloria and John Carl Jarriel; and sister, Mary Jane Dalgleish of Austin, TX. Pauline was also preceded in death by her twin brother, Paul Wolf; brothers, Arthur and Joseph Wolf; and sister, Delores Powell.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso. Visitation will be held Saturday at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Cremation will take place at Angelcrest Crematory, Valparaiso.
