Rice, Winona Lee

(nee Carrigan) Age 75, of Merrillville, IN passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at her home with her family by her side.

Lee is survived by her husband, Frank; 3 children, Terry (Jugo) Milisavljevich, Dana (Charles) Boswell, and Jeff (Michelle) Rice; 9 grandchildren, Justin (Brenna), Tara; Ashley (Phil), Braxton, Karson, Jake, Tyler, Megan (George), and Allison; 2 great-grandchildren, Max and Emma; 2 brothers, Jim (Sharon) Carrigan, Jr. and Jay Dee (Kathy) Carrigan; 2 sisters, Ruth (Lou Anderson) Smith and Renee Sheppard; and numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.

Lee was preceded in death by her son, Frank David Rice and her parents, Floyd Sr. and Edna Carrigan.

Lee enjoyed her trips to Bingo and the Casino boats. She will always be remembered by her grandchildren for the special treats she gave them. Lee loved spending time with her family and friends and will be sorely missed, as she was always the life of the party.
