Party host, 4 oth­ers ar­rested in Portage dis­tur­bance

PORTAGE — Caleb West­fall re­peat­edly and un­want­edly groped at least two fe­males at a party at his home, po­lice said. When their male friends con­fronted him, West­fall al­legedly charged at one of the women with a knife.

West­fall, 24, was ar­rested about 2 a.m. Sun­day out­side his home, in the 6400 block of Portage Av­enue, on three felony charges — in­tim­i­da­tion with a deadly weapon and two counts of sex­ual bat­tery. He also was charged with mis­de­meanor re­sist­ing law en­force­ment, dis­or­derly con­duct, pub­lic in­tox­i­ca­tion and two counts of bat­tery. He de­nied all ac­cu­sa­tions.

Jesse Bai­ley, 20, of Knox, was ar­rested for mis­de­meanor un­der­age drink­ing and pos­ses­sion of drug para­pher­na­lia. Joell Bai­ley, 22, of Knox, was ar­rested for pub­lic in­tox­i­ca­tion and dis­or­derly con­duct. The two women, ages 18 and 19, both from Ch­ester­ton, were ar­rested for un­der­age drink­ing.
