Age 81, of East Chicago, passed away Tues­day, Au­gust 26, 2014 at home.

Sur­vived by 5 daugh­ters, Troyce Golden, Tore­lia "Yvonne" (Roy) Lan­drum, Claudette Pick­ens, Shirley (Tony) Flem­ing, Cathy (Sean) Sparks; 1 son, Clarence (Tracey) Peak; spe­cial grand­son, Gerelle Bates; 20 grand­chil­dren; 22 great­grand­chil­dren; 2 sisters; 12 broth­ers; 1 brother-in­law; trea­sured friend, Annie An­der­son; and a host of nieces, neph­ews, other rel­a­tives and friends.

Fu­neral ser­vices will be held Wed­nes­day, Septem­ber 3, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at Flan­ner & Buchanan Wash­ing­ton Park North, 2706 Kessler Blvd. West Drive, In­di­anapo­lis, IN. Rev. Greg Smith of­fi­ci­at­ing. In­ter­ment Wash­ing­ton Park North Ceme­tery, In­di­anapo­lis. Vis­i­ta­tion will be held Tues­day, Septem­ber 2, 2014, Hin­ton & Wil­liams Fu­neral Home, 4859 Alexan­der Ave., East Chicago from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and Wed­nes­day, Septem­ber 3, 2014 at Flan­ner & Buchanan Wash­ing­ton Park North from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the fu­neral ser­vice.

Mrs. Bai­ley was re­tired from St. Cather­ine Hos­pi­tal Di­etary Depart­ment and was a de­voted childcare provider and com­mu­nity ac­tivist.

The fam­ily is re­quest­ing that all flow­ers be sent to the Flan­ner & Buchanan lo­ca­tion in In­di­anapo­lis.
