First Tabernacle M.B. Church: 643 W. 41st Ave. — A Harvest Feast, announced by state Rep. Vernon G. Smith, D-Gary, will be at 7 p.m. Nov. 19 at First Tabernacle M.B. Church. The event is put on every year by Smith as a memorial to his mother, Rev. Julia E. Smith, former pastor of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and his aunt, Magnolia Allen.
