Best Director Oscar nominee Arthur Penn’s Best Picture-nominated 1967 biographic­al crime film depicts the violent career and end of infamous outlaw couple Clyde Barrow (Best Actor nominee Warren Beatty) and Bonnie Parker (Best Actress nominee Faye Dunaway), who embarked on a robbery-and-murder spree across the Southwest in the early 1930s. The landmark film, considered one of the first of the “New Hollywood” era, co-stars Best Supporting Actress winner Estelle Parsons and Best Supporting Actor nominees Gene Hackman and Michael J. Pollard.
