Arizona will have a Democratic governor and two Democratic senators for the first time in 72 years in case you’re wondering how that red wave is doing.

Just wait. Kari Lake will never concede and she will not go away.

She knows there is still a lot more money to be made off the MAGA crazies that idolize her. After some predictably dopey accusations of fraud and corruption in Arizona’s electoral system, she will employ her slick skills as a former broadcaster to start up a Steve Bannon-style podcast, every bit as vicious and just as filled with wall-to-wall hatred and lies.

Mike Pence should get no applause for his negative comments on Trump in his new book.

Who can forget the looks of rapt adoration on Pence’s face as he stood in the background on so many occasions when Trump was speaking? Or who could possibly ever forget the final cabinet meeting of 2017, when Trump turned the floor over to Mike Pence, who heaped gag-worthy praise on Trump and, according to a CNN tally, mentioned Trump by name every 12 seconds? Pence has lots of bad things to say about Trump now that what he says doesn’t matter.

With the midterms winding down, a note of gratitude for Trump is due.

By endorsing many despicable Republican candidates, he all but assured their defeat, thus sparing the nation from having them in office. It’s the one time Trump was able to MAGA, whether directly or not. The end result is the same, and America is better off. So, thank you, Donald. Keep up the good work.

The Democrats may have pulled off the impossible.

Many of us were wondering what would it take to get Republicans to move back to the mainstream. Many Republicans said the party had drifted into extremism and away from the traditional platforms of the past. Apparently, it has taken a good old fashioned political whipping called the midterms to get their attention. Prominent Republicans are finally speaking out about the need to change the direction of the party. I can’t give all the credit to Democrats. There were crossover Republican voters. Thank you. One warning. Even after a Biden victory in 2020 and a shellacking during the midterms, one individual still stands in the way of a complete conversion. He is an ex-president and he resides in a residence called Mar-a-Lago!

Could there possibly be anything finer than to see at least a few in the Republican Party

and even Fox News throwing Donald J. Trump under the bus? And it’s about time. They should get no applause for something they should have done years ago.

All of my life the two most important voting factors were jobs and the economy.

That all went out the window this year. While a few die hard Republicans hold onto these factors, the factors that carried the majority of voters this year were abortions and freebies. It’s going to be interesting on how these new factors pay our bills! Where are all of these lost souls that need an abortion so strongly?

Republicans just elected 90-year-old Chuck Grassley to the Senate,

but you tell me 79-year-old Joe Biden is too old to serve? You’re a special kind of ignorant.

When Trump announced in 2016, he rode down the escalator.

If he announces for 2024, he should ride the escalator up since he has a long climb ahead of him this time around.
