Thompson, Ransom J.

Ransom J. Thompson was born January 21, 1940, in Biscoe, Arkansas to Washington and Florence Thompson, who preceded him in death, along with his sister, Georgia Randolph and brothers Alan, Morris and James Thompson. Ransom made his transition at Westover Hills Rehabilitation and healthcare facility in San Antonio, Texas on October 29, 2022. He will truly be missed. He leaves to celebrate and cherish his life: His Son, Ransom Darell (Demetrice) Thompson; Grandchildren, Alexandria, Jayla, and Ransom Peyton Thompson; Sister-in-law, Elvira Thompson; Nieces, Felecia Thompson, Jean Tippett, Joan Watson; Nephew, Alan Thompson; Aunt, Connie Smith; Uncle, Maurice Trice; Special friends, Lena McGrew, James Davis and Robert Ware and other relatives and friends. Visitation Thursday November 17, 2022, from noon until 8:00 p.m., with family hours from 6-8:00 p.m. Funeral service Friday November 18, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. All services at the Guy & Allen Chapel, 2959 W. 11th Ave. Interment Fern Oaks Cemetery.
