Cowboys rout Vikings
Tony Pollard had two touchdown catches with a career-high 189 yards from scrimmage, and the Cowboys sacked Kirk Cousins a career-most seven times in a 40-3 victory over the Vikings on Sunday in Minneapolis that slammed the Vikings’ seven-game winning streak to a screeching halt.
Dak Prescott was 22 of 25 for 276 yards and two TDs, Ezekiel Elliott rushed for two scores in his return from injury and Brett Maher made four field goals — including a 60-yarder to end the first half.
Micah Parsons and Dorance Armstrong had two sacks apiece for the Cowboys (7-3) in the fifth-largest loss ever for the Vikings (8-2) — and the biggest road win in Cowboys history.
Saints 27, Rams 20: Andy Dalton passed for three TDs to lift the Saints at home. Rams QB Mathew Stafford left in the second half with possibly his second concussion in three weeks. The defending Super Bowl champs have lost four straight.
Patriots 10, Jets 3: Rookie Marcus Jones returned a punt 84 yards for a TD with 5 seconds left and the Patriots won in stunning fashion. It was the third straight win for the host Pats.
Bills 31, Browns 23: Josh Allen threw a go-ahead, 5-yard TD pass to Stefon Diggs late in the first half, and the Bills won after the NFL moved the game to Detroit due to several feet of snow blanketing western New York.
Eagles 17, Colts 16: Jalen Hurts ran for an 8-yard TD with 1:20 remaining and the Eagles rebounded from their first loss of the season with the comeback win. The visiting Eagles trailed 13-3 before Hurts threw for a TD early in the fourth quarter to pull his team within three.
Lions 31, Giants 18: Jamaal Williams ran for a careerhigh three TDs and the Lions posted consecutive roads wins and their first three-game winning streak since November 2017.
Ravens 13, Panthers 3: Lamar Jackson ran for a 1-yard TD in the fourth quarter and the Ravens forced three late turnovers to win at home. It was their fourth straight victory.
Commanders 23, Texans 10: Taylor Heinicke threw for 191 yards, Kendall Fuller returned an INT for a TD, and the visiting Commanders won for the fifth time in six games.
Bengals 37, Steelers 30: Joe Burrow threw four TD passes and the host Bengals rallied on the road for their fourth win in five games. Backup RB Samaje Perine had three receiving scores to help make up for the loss of Joe Mixon to a concussion. Raiders 22, Broncos 16: Derek Carr hit Davante Adams with his second long TD, a 35-yarder on the third snap of OT, to give the visiting Raiders the victory. Raiders K Daniel Carlson made a 25-yard FG with 16 seconds left in regulation to send the game into OT.
