Odd, don’t you think, that Republican voters in Iowa are probably grousing

about Joe Biden being “too old” to run for the Presidency in 2024? This after they just returned 89-year old Senator Chuck Grassley to another six-year term. Grassley will be 95 when this term ends, but has already signed papers indicating that he intends to run for re-election again in 2028.

Three unarmed people at a gay bar in Colorado Springs were able to do

what 100 armed police couldn’t do in a school in Uvalde, Texas. So much for the theory of a good guy with a gun.

We must never let these election deniers become the norm.

They’re liars. Bogus. Nutcases. Dangerous. They’re a cancer on our Constitution. There is no better way to protect our Constitution and the rule of law than to weed them out, every last one of them. They put party over country, the worst and most dangerous sin in a democracy. Yet you just elected one as Indiana Secretary of State. Why do you tolerate them? Can you give a clear answer?

Herschel Walker has said some pretty crazy things, but his recent spiel on vampires v. werewolves

really takes the cake. And what’s so sad for our nation is that it won’t matter, there will actually still be people who vote for him. It’s amazing that so many can be so completely divorced from reality.

Trump allowed back on Twitter proves only one thing — Elon Musk is just as big an idiot.

Waiting to see the down fall of both myself.

Just name a couple of the solutions that you claim Republicans have proposed

to solve our nation’s problems. Okay, too tough? Then how about naming a single one? I’ll bet you’re just confused by the Republican strategy of voting against measures Democrats have proposed but then taking credit for them. Republicans have proposed no solutions, have no discernible policies— unless you consider lowering (again) taxes on the wealthy or eliminating regulations that protect the environment and keep businesses honest.

Sorry to hear that you’re sorry Trump will run in 2024!

Not sure what his candidacy has to do with the moral of the abortion industry, but it might have something to do with its morale. At any rate, the Republican Party is still an abortion supporter, they just favor the retroactive form of abortion. By failing to address the mass shooting epidemic in this country, and adding fuel with hateful rhetoric, the Republican Party is as responsible for loss of life as the abortion movement it condemns.

A Quickly writer asked who will be using the Crown Point hotels

that will be built near the Sports Complex once the summer sports season is over? Have we forgotten about the other seasons (football, basketball, soccer, track and field), holidays, vacationers, family visits, family reunions, business and corporate activities, etc.? I suspect the original article was somewhat misleading because it only mentioned summer sports use. Print media are not infallible. However, that’s why it is important to include enough information to avoid being misunderstood. Apparently, Quickly understood this and allowed for expanded comments. I have a suggestion for Quickly. The column is extremely popular. In order to reflect the short and expanded comments, why not call the opinions ‘Quickly Plus,’ ‘Quickly and Slowly,’ ‘Quickly Boosted’ or ‘Quickly Bolstered?’

Oh no, Joe wants to run again!

I can’t take another $2 increase in gasoline costs or another 40% hike in my grocery store prices. Joe may be great for getting an abortion, but he is terrible at managing the economy. Surely the Democrats can find someone to run who has a head on his shoulder and is not from such a corrupt family!
