‘Random Acts of Creativity’ at Miller Beach Arts

Miller Beach Arts and Creative District will host “Random Acts of Creativity,” a community show featuring 11 artists who have roots/ live in Gary, Saturday through Jan. 14 at the Marshall J. Gardner Center for the Arts, 540 S. Lake St., Gary.

Artists include: Danieya Bonner, Catisha Toney, James E. Ford, Jr., Ed Abromaitis, Lillian Martinez, Jennifer No, Greg O’Drobinak, Deb Weiss, Jamika Smith, Mariah Smith and Rodney Brown. An Opening Reception will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, coinciding with the First Friday December Cookie Walk, with seasonal music, a cash bar and light refreshments.

A January Reception will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. on Jan. 6 with live music by D.C.M.T. (Digitally Correct Meta-Troubadours). More information is at millerbeacharts.org.
