Hobart bar fight leaves 2 men injured

- Post-Tribune

Three men were involved in a fight Sunday at a Hobart bar and two tumbled off a second floor deck to the ground.

Detective Lt. Nicholas T. Wardrip said the two men, ages 45 and 67, were in an altercation with a 35-year-old man about 5 p.m. at Cagney’s Saloon 236 Main St.

Police found the two men on the ground with non-life threatening injuries and they were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Police said it’s unclear if the men fell or were pushed.

No arrests were made Sunday in that incident, but police said the 35-year-old male was arrested for an earlier domestic battery report.

A witness said the men became embroiled in a verbal argument and a physical fight ensued on the bar’s outside deck, which situated above a parking lot across from Lake George. Wardrip said charges haven’t been filed at this time.
