Ivy Nicole Miles-Armstrong

Ivy Nicole Miles-Armstrong, 21, of Panama, was born April 13, 2000, in Fort Smith, Ark., and passed Saturday, March 26, 2022 near Big Cedar.

She was married to Jeffrey Armstrong on June 9, 2021, in Poteau.

She was preceded in death by her infant son Jude Christopher Armstrong, grandmother Mary Thornley, great-grandparents “Sonny” and Odean Nichols and Russell and Elvira Thornley and aunt Kim Jenkins.

Ivy is the most wonderful mother, a blessing of a wife and a daughter like no other. She has such a passion for nature and everything in it. Ivy is very artistic. There was nothing she couldn’t create. She saw life and beauty in everything from here to the stars. She never stopped fighting for what she faced. There are no words to describe the way you are loved on this earth.

Survivors include husband Jeffrey DeWayne Armstrong Jr., sons Elijah Lee Armstrong, Jeffrey DeWayne Armstrong III, sisters Kylee Miles and Ben Martin, Emmrie Sumpter and Hadly Thornley, sister-in-law Destiny Bays, brother Jeremy Lee Thornley, brothers-in-law Nicholas and Bobby Armstrong, parents Crystal and Christopher Sumpter, inlaws Kerri Daggs and Jeff Armstrong, grandparents Michael Thornley, Rocky and Amy Sumpter, Nana Shug and Gina Kristi, aunts Tasha Cooper, Autumn Alzate and Sarah Miles, uncle DeCoty Cooper, Mrs. Nova and a host of family and friends.

Her service was Sunday, April 3, 2022, at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau.

Pallbearers were Jeremy Thornley, Kylee Miles, Ben Martin, Hadly Thornley, Michael Thornley, Emmrie Sumpter, Rocky Sumpter, Crystal Sumpter, Kirk Skinner and 3a,
