County Commissioners approve purchasing chiller for court house
The LeFlore County Commissioners approved purchasing a 100-ton chiller for the LeFlore County Court House from Green Country Refrigeration for $99,200, which includes the $65,000 chiller itself and add-ons such as maintenance upkeep and warranty, during Monday morning’s meeting at the court house.
The board approved a resolution to surplus a 2008 dump truck from the District 2 inventory with a value of $59,720 and approved a bid notice and resolution to accept sealed bids for a low-water crossing construction project for District 1.
The County Commissioners approved the appointment of Talihina Emergency Management Director John Waggoner to the LeFlore County Flood Plain Board and to add Gail Robinson and remove Makaela Hicks as receiving officer for the LeFlore County Detention Center.
The board approved the contract between LeFlore County Assessor Gaylon E. Freeman and Total Administrative Services Corporation (TASC) to provide oil and gas lease information.
The Commissioners also approved purchase orders, payroll, bonds, monthly fee reports, transfer of appropriations, blanket purchase orders and the two ongoing bridge construction projects — one a mile east of Shady Point over the Poteau River and the other on Brazil Creek Road south of Oklahoma State Highway 31 and west of Shady Point.
